Sounds like real drums
Hit it where it counts.
Every kit responds to where you strike it. Closer to the center hits louder, further out plays softer, and the edges and centers hide extra sounds. Try it.
Edge: rim shot
Catch the edge of the snare for a rim shot. Dead center for the full crack.
Center: the bell
Hit the center of the ride to ring the bell. Anywhere else, it's the ride.
Center: pedal mute
Hit the center of the hi-hat for a pedal mute. The rim lets it ring open.
Tip: for the full punch of the kick and toms, play with headphones or external speakers.
Loop Maker
Build the groove. Then play over it.
- 32 steps, 8 tracks. Two bars of sixteenths across ride, crash, three toms, hi-hat, snare and kick.
- Every hit has feel. Set the velocity of each step, or switch it to the rim, the bell or an open hat.
- A real mixer. Faders for cymbals, hats, toms, snare and kick, plus tempo.
- 27 KickStarts built in. Start from a ready-made groove, save your own, and play any of them back on any kit.
- Jam on top. Play the kit while the loop runs and your hits drop straight into the pattern.

A 4×3 grid of drum-machine pads for whatever kit you're on, numbered like an MPC. Arm REC while the loop runs and every hit snaps to the nearest sixteenth. Then watch the pads light up as it plays back.
- Multi-touch. Land several fingers on different pads at once.
- Velocity and haptics. Hit harder toward the middle of a pad, and feel every hit.
- 60 to 200 BPM. Nudge the tempo one BPM at a time, or hold to race.
- Load and save. Start from any KickStart, then save your loop as a new one. It's waiting in Loop Mode.
